About Us
Breath was created in 2021 with the mindset of change. We first discovered that the apparel industry is responsible for a massive amount of pollution both through the air but more so through water. Everyday clothes are made from harsh materials and in factories that are polluting the Earth daily. As we began to do research and realize just how much the apparel industry has let us all down we became frustrated, and thought surely there is a brand we could get behind that created healthy, environmentally conscious apparel right here in the United States. Once again we were let down, after many hours of research we could not find a brand or company that checked those boxes, so we decided to create our own. An attempt to create a brand conscious athletes in the United States could get behind and support knowing without a doubt that we care, and want to benefit everyone not just ourselves, thus Breath was born.
Our goal is to create change by producing everyday wear from environmentally friendly materials as well as making the product right here in the United States with a result of a carbon negative supply chain. As of right now we are restricted to just two products, a 50/50 recycled poly/up-cycled cotton blend t shirt, and a 100% organic cotton t shirt. We are just starting out and plan to evolve but we did not want to sacrifice what we set out to do which is produce eco-friendly USA made products. Our shirts come from a company in Charlotte North Carolina that manufactures eco conscious products.
This is a temporary thing as we learn the ins and outs of the apparel industry we will begin to expand our product lines. From the start we will be contributing 20% of our resources and profits to charities which help heal the planet. To give back we plan to work with environmentally friendly charities in their mission to help repair the planet. We intend to create a community that is involved and cares about today and our future. Our main goal is to bring the basic necessity of fresh water to as many people across the globe as we can, as well as exploring other avenues of benefit for people. Here at Breath we believe apparel is just the start, with the support of people such as yourself we can grow this project to a massive scale and have a massive impact on the world.
As a veteran owned business we are encouraged by physical fitness and health, and trained to find a mission and a goal. Our vision here at Breath is to help and educate more people to make incremental changes towards a longer healthier lifestyle. Giving people the proper information on how to prolong their life and increase their quality of living allows us to affect change in multiple ways and we hope this change will propagate for years to come. We intend to expand our products and services to one day include all aspects of health and wellness not just apparel but accessories to include shoes and wearables, supplements, vitamins, food, beverages, classes, equipment, and more.
